Project Description :
- The project is divided into 6 contracts consisting of civil works and track works 5 contracts (from Nakhon Pathom-Nong Pla Lai, Nong Pla Lai-Hua Hin, Hua Hin-Prachuap Khiri Khan, Prachuap Khiri Khan-Bang Sapan Noi and Bang Sapan Noi-Chumphon) and design, provision and installation of signaling and telecommunication 1 contract (from Nakhon Pathom-Chumphon).
- Construct new at-grade track parallel to the existing track for about 420 km except at Hua Hin Station where it is elevated track for about 4 km.
- Construct 423 railway bridges
- Construct 120 overpasses.
- Construct 37 U-turn bridges.
- Construct 12 underpasses.
- Construct 33 box culverts.
- Construct new stations or improve the existing stations, totaling 58 stations, and 1 elevated station and 9 halts.
- Construct 1 centralized traffic control building.
- Construct 6 container yards at Thung Ma Mao Station, Sam Roi Yot Station, Waghor Station, Na Phak Khuang Station, Map Ammarit Station and Sa Pli Station.
- Design, provide and install signaling (automatic train protection, ATP) and telecommunication system along the railway.
